EIFS BaseCoat is a special mixture of various admixtures and Ordinary Portland Cement for repair of concrete and masonry, adhering and surfacing of EIFS insulation boards prior to applying Cemcrete’s decorative coatings. EIFS BaseCoat’s use is twofold. Firstly it can be used as a repair mortar for leveling, patching and filling masonry, concrete and plaster before painting, with or without a glassfibre reinforcing mesh. And secondly as an adhesive for pasting EIFS insulation board (polystyrene) or feature segments onto the interior or exterior of buildings before covering with glassfibre reinforced mesh impregnated with the same material.
